Oprah will still be hosting her regular talk show but is now also starring in her own reality show; "Behind the Scenes: Oprah's 25th season".
This new show will prohibit her from appearing on similiar shows that air on the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) until the show ends in September of 2011.
In this new reality show we will see Oprah behind the scenes. What she does to prepare for her shows and what she does with her spare time.
It is sad that this show has been wanted by audiences for years now but OWN thought this was the most appropriate time to complete their viewers request.
This is such an amazing thing OWN is dong. Oprah is one of the few people on television that portrays a positive atmosphere. She has done so much for women and men all over the world and this is one of the few Reality TV shows I will actually be interested in.
We have so many trashy reality shows that are horrible influences on today's society. So much of what is on reality shows today is extremely negative and teaches kids as well as young teens and even young adults aweful ways to conduct their lives.
Finally someone got it right and is producing a show that will have what I believe will be a positive influence on society.

Wow. An Oprah reality show? I really question the format. Maybe because my view is cloudy with reality shows, like "I love money" and "Flavor of Love."
ReplyDeleteI picture this being like Kathy Griffins tv show, except full of heart and warmth, instead of "accidental swears on network tv."
Oprah is always going to be remembered as one the most inspiring woman to ever touch foot in this world. What she has done for all citizens around her is just flat out amazing. I believe this will be a great show to send Oprah out on.
ReplyDeleteThe prospect of an Oprah reality show seems dubious to me. I don't know why Oprah needs a reality show. To me it seems like a gimmick to tap into a market that she already dominates, that made her the richest woman in television.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way as Will, a second show about her show seems to be another tactic for more money. It takes a lot of money to run one's own network; maybe she's a little strapped for cash (compared to her outrageous wealth) and this is for her pocket.
